Lastly, you may all remember a couple of months back we had White Denim scheduled to perform here and due to interference from the Man we unfortunately had to cancel. Well, we didn't want the boys to come all this way empty handed so we got some beer and food, cued up the tape machine, and the guys played a dynamite set in the live room for our ears only. Well now we would like to expand our ear pleasure to your ears (what?). We're happy to say we'll be releasing White Denim Live at Third Man Records on 12" vinyl. If you like your Southern Rock sun baked, damaged, and reaching towards the planets, this record is for you. Better writers than me have tried in vain to describe where White Denim is at musically these days and failed, but suffice to say this record would be at home on a record shelf not only packed with Lee Hazelwood records but also Pharoah Sanders and Amon Duul. The only way you're going to be able to make sense of that last sentence is to buy the album. And you can, on August 23rd.
